A Federal High Court sitting in Lafia, Nasarawa State, has annulled the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary for Nasarawa West Senatorial District over alleged manipulation of delegates list used for the election.
The court ordered the party to conduct a fresh election in the zone within 14 days.

Daily Trust reports that Labaran Magaji is challenging the emergence of Shehu Tukur as the APC senatorial candidate for the zone.
Our correspondent also reports that the plaintiff, Barrister Magaji, an aspirant at the APC senatorial primaries, had taken the party, APC and Arc. Shehu Tukur, the purported winner of the election, to court alleging irregularities during the primary.
Justice Nehezina Afolabi, while delivering judgment, affirmed that the delegates list used during the primary election on June 4, 2022 was fake hence the purported declaration of Mr Shehu Tukur as the winner of the election stands nullified.
