A Pastor, his wife and one other person have been confirmed dead in road accident along the busy Bauchi-Maiduguri road in Bauchi State.
The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Yusuf Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident in Bauchi, said the crash occurred Friday after around 2:30 pm about 12 kilometers away from Darazo FRSC office.

Abdullahi said the victims were conveyed to General Hospital, Darazo where they were confirmed dead.
He attributed the cause of the accident to wrongful overtaking involving a Citron Wagon with registration number BAU 569 AA.
“When the driver overtook another vehicle and went back to his lane, he lost control and veered off the road and crashed,” he added.
He said the pastor and his wife said to be working for private firm, Gino Company, were traveling to Azare for promo activation when the accident happened.
Abdullahi said the sum of N21, 000 recovered from the scene of the crash would be handed over to the family of the victims.
