A couple, Austin and Margret Idemudia, have been arrested for allegedly producing adulterated drinks in Ado-Odo/Ota LGA of Ogun State.
Their arrest was sequel to the directive of the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Olatoye A. Durosinmi, to the Raider Section of Zone 2 led by CSP Ngozi Braide.
The couple, in their confessional statement to the police, said they made more money producing adulterated drinks than selling original ones.
Austin said, “We make more money from the sales and distribution of fake drinks.”
