The FCT Police Command has paraded a couple and one other person over “one chance” and a series of robberies in Abuja.

The Commissioner of Police (CP), Garba Haruna, who gave the names of the suspects as Mr and Mrs Chukwudi Okorie and Miss Esther Gabriel, said they were arrested by operatives from the Utako Division, Abuja, in connection with a series of robbery, specifically “one chance” activities.

While disclosing that the suspects all resided the Akaraka, Gwagwa suburb of Abuja, Haruna said they confessed to have carried out one chance-related activities in the FCT, adding that a Mazda car with registration number: FCT 590 EV, was recovered from them.

He further said, “While investigation is ongoing to apprehend other accomplices, I wish to reiterate once more of the FCT Police Command under my leadership of the unflinching commitment to ensuring the FCT remains safe and peaceful for residents to stay without fair from any quarters.”
