Chairman of the Senator Mohammed Sani Musa Advisory Council, Alhaji Babasule Bissala Suleja, has said that the deluge of calls for the Niger East lawmaker to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairmanship seat was a clear manifestation of his sterling qualities as a leader.
Bissala Suleja at a press conference said Senator Musa remained the only one capable of moving the APC forward.

While stressing the resolve of the council and all well-meaning APC members in Niger State to work for the actualization of the lawmaker’s bid, he said the stakeholders and Nigerians want a more robust APC, which Senator Musa stands to offer.
“We are not surprised that the calls for him to be the National Chairman of our great party are growing. He does not belong to the class of a typical Nigeria politician that must manipulate or engage in aberrations to gain relevance,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Coalition of North Central All Progressives Congress APC Forum has advocated that the chairmanship slot should be accorded three states of Niger, Kogi, and Kwara.
The coalition in a release yesterday by its coordinator, James Pwajok observed that in the immediate past, the chairmen of political parties produced were mostly from Plateau, Benue, and Nasarawa axis, thus Niger, Kogi and Kwara should be considered this time.
