A Federal High Court in Kano on Thursday remanded former governor of Jigawa state Sule Lamido and his two sons in prison custody over fraud allegations.
Our correspondent reports that the ex-governor and his two sons will be in prison custody till September 28 for the next hearing.
Earlier at about 9am, Lamido and his two sons arrived the Federal High Court Kano in a coaster bus led by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives.
Lamido and his sons, Aminu and Mustapha were arrested in Abuja on Tuesday.
Daily Trust correspondent observed the EFCC operatives handing over the trio to officials from the Kano Central Prisons who took them away in a waiting bus.
