The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the discovery of decomposed bodies of a young couple, Naomi and Peter, who were kidnapped about two weeks ago at Federal Junction in Agbarho Local Government Area (LGA) of Delta State.
The command’s spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed this to City & Crime at the weekend, said the corpses were discovered in a river in Agbarho town.
Earlier, one Sunset Awins, who posted the abduction of the couple on her Facebook wall, said the couple began dating about two months ago, noting that effort by their families to secure their release from their abductors proved abortive.
In a follow up Facebook post on Tuesday, June 6, Sunset, who shared three videos, including one showing Peter’s corpse floating on the river and Naomi’s corpse on the river bank, wrote: “See how these wicked people killed my little princess, cut her on her forehead and still shot her and threw her into a pond. Naomi, your killers would know no peace, RIP my dear.”
