The corpse of a man, Hussaini Lawal, whose wife, Amina, and sister, Hajara, were abducted by bandits in Janjala community in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State has been found in a bush in the area.
City & Crime had reported that bandits on Tuesday night raided three communities, killed three people and abducted 16 others.
A relative of the deceased, Dauda Hafuza, who spoke with our reporter through telephone on Thursday, said the man’s corpse was found in the early hours of Thursday near a stream close to a forest.

He explained that the victim had escaped with bullet wounds after bandits invaded his house in Taka-Lafiya village near Janjala and abducted his wife and his sister.
The Madaki of Janjala, Samaila Babangida, who confirmed the recovery of the corpse, said, “They brought the corpse Janjala and I reached out to his relations in Taka-Lafiya who came and buried it.”
There was no response from the spokesman of the state police command over the development at the time of filing this report.
