The corpse of a newly born baby girl has been reportedly found at the old market area of Paiko, the headquarters of Paikoro LGA of Niger State.
Residents told City & Crime that the baby was found with a broken head on Thursday.
One of the residents, Musa Danjuma, told our correspondent that the remains had been buried by the residents of the area.

He said, “The baby might have been thrown away in the night. And unfortunately, her head was broken when we got there. It was a baby girl and her remains have been buried by the residents of the area.”
No immediate response from the police on the incident.
