An unidentified corpse of a middle-aged man was found a few meters away from a checkpoint near Abaji, along the Abuja-Lokoja Road.
Daily Trust learnt that the corpse was found by a man who was on his way to his farm.

It was learnt that the corpse, which had no injury or bloodstain, was later evacuated by the police to the mortuary.
Some people expressed suspicion that the corpse might have been dumped by suspected ritualists, who may have abducted the deceased.
When contacted, the spokesman of the FCT police command, ASP Daniel Y Ndiparya, confirmed the discovery of the corpse of a yet to be identified person along the highway.
He said the corpse was discovered by a passer-by, who alerted the police.
ASP Daniel said policemen went to the scene to evacuate the corpse to the Abaji General Hospital morgue.
He said the police were investigating the matter.
