National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members have been tasked to ensure that they are productive in whatever skill and talent they have chosen to develop as entrepreneurs.
Director of Information, National Productivity Centre, Abuja, Dr. Rekiya Momoh Abaji made the remarks yesterday in Abuja during an orientation lecture for Corps members.
She said it was not just okay to start a business but ensure that it succeeds and becomes productive.
Abaji urged them to convert their knowledge and skills into wealth and as well as periodically check the performance of the business to ascertain if it is successful or not.
On her part, a Corps member, Chiamaka Enendu said she agrees to the idea of self-employment so as not to keep waiting for white collar jobs.
