Our commitment to you in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

Dear valued stakeholders,

We have been following developments across our country and the world over with respect to the spread of the coronavirus, otherwise known as Covid-19.

We have initiated certain processes to ensure that we remain operational while heeding government and World Health Organisation (WHO) advice to ensure that it is science and not hysteria which informs our decisions.

In the unlikely event of a lockdown in Nigeria, we want to ensure that our essential duty staff and stakeholders are safe, just as we use our platform to encourage others to do the same.

As credible information is essential in the fight against Covid-19, we have also thought about ways in which, as a news medium, we can keep you up-to-date with trends in and around our country, and also across the globe.

We want you to be rest assured that even in a lockdown situation on our entire country (which we hope would not happen), we will continue to offer our services online across all our news platforms: Daily Trust, Aminiya, Tambari, as well as on the online Tv and news streams.

However, because the supply chains for some essentials which we require for our work, like those of others are being disrupted daily across the globe, we may get to a point when the physical copies of our newspapers cannot be delivered to you. At that stage, we may be forced to suspend printing of the hard copies and serve you their contents (complete as in the print edition) online through our e-paper.

Even now you can access the e-paper by going to our website www.dailytrust.com.ng, to subscribe for daily, weekly monthly e-paper that contains everything in the print edition.

We believe this is a time for us to come together, starting first and foremost with our individual civic responsibilities to limit the spread of this disease.

We want to also use this opportunity to inform you that our doors are open to any further suggestions from you for measures we can introduce to serve you better.

You can reach us on all our online and social media platforms:
