Contributory health scheme for launch July

The Sokoto State Contributory Health scheme will be launched in July, the Special Adviser to the Governor on the scheme, Dr. Muhammad Inname, has disclosed.

According to him, state and local governments would contribute for destitutes as the state government makes participation into the scheme mandatory for residents.

The bill establishing the scheme which has been passed into law by the state House of Assembly was now awaiting the assent of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal to become operational.
