Contestants to battle for N25m in next Teachers’ Naija show

For the next Teachers’ Naija Reality TV Show coming up in 2023, the contestants will slug it out for N25 million worth of prizes, said ANUB Media Limited, the organizers.

They stated this yesterday while unveiling the programme line up with the theme, ‘The Smart Teacher’.

The convener and CEO of the firm, Mr Enuagwuna Ubaka said the firm was ready to host the 2023 edition where prizes worth N25m will be won.

He said the champion will get N10m, the second-place position is for N7m and the third-place winner will receive N5m. In addition, there will be a trip to Dubai and with developmental projects for the schools where they teach.

The Show which started in 2019 has witnessed two seasons in 2019 and 2021 while the impact of COVID-19 prevented the 2020 edition of the show.

He said, “Gone are those days when they say that teachers’ reward is in heaven. The Teachers Naija Reality TV Show has come to change that narrative and to show the public that teachers can have their reward on earth while they wait for their heavenly reward.

“Ayo Makun popularly known as AY is the face of the season three show. “We hope that with his presence and influence on the Show, the profession will begin to attract more attention from stakeholders and the government,” said Ubaka.

Representative of the Registrar, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Princess Adaobi Ekwuwo commended the organizers, saying that with a show like this, teachers are now being elevated from their relegated status just as it also brings a positive change to the profession.
