Contest for Sokoto gov’ship, Rahmaniyya’s brother urged

The youth, under the auspices of Youth Agenda Project, have called on a Sokoto business mogul, Mas’ud Bashar, to contest for the state governorship in order to rescue it from bad governance.

Mas’ud is the younger brother of oil magnate Abdurrahman Bashar popularly known as Rahmaniyya.

The leader of the group, Aliyu Abdul, alleged that the state was currently encircled by a myriad of problems that only a competent and energetic leader could rescue it from.
