The System Performance Management (SPM), a business consultancy firm on Friday gave free  training to over 100 young entrepreneurs in Abuja.
The Lead Consultant of the firm Paul Alaje while speaking to our correspondent at the venue of the two- day training in Abuja said the objective of the training is to help young entrepreneurs grow their businesses, have access to finance and also know the way of developing the businesses.
Alaje said the training is necessary haven’t realised through research that the drivers of economy are young people and people in small businesses. “Of course we have big businesses but when our small businesses are dead we have lot of challenge.” 
Alaje whose agency had trained over 2000 entrepreneurs for free in the past two years said they are teaching people how to develop business that will outlive them.
Representative of the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) Mrs. Kagho said they provide finance, technical assistance and also educate anyone going into farming on how to source credible market for their products.
She said they do not only finance the production process but the whole value chain of agricultural production, adding that to access them an account must be opened in the bank. 
“Our vision is to reach everybody and our interest rate is incomparable with what we have on commercial banks.”
One of the participants, Joy Atuma said she had gained a lot in the training on how to move her business forward. 
Another participant Maji Daniel also said the training is beneficial in that it is organised to understand the dynamics of how business works.
