The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State has been cautioned against the imposition of executives in the forthcoming ward, local government and state congresses of the party.
Alhaji Dahiru Ibrahim, a stalwart of the party, said the warning became necessary to avoid any crisis that might affect the chances of the party in the 2023 general elections.
Speaking to journalists in Jos, the state capital, he said Dahiru said as a stakeholder with a sincere democratic mission in the APC, the party should heed to his call.
“We have to caution our party leadership at this stage to block all loopholes that may create any faction or litigation as the final option at the disposal of those that may be shortchanged or denied a level playing ground in the coming congresses,” he said.
