It is our firm prayers that God will continue to lead and direct you aright for the benefit of all Nigerians.

SPONSOR AD

We humbly use this privilege to plead with Mr President to give his assent to the Chattered Institute of Forensic and Investigative Professionals of Nigeria (CIFIPN) bill as recently passed by both chambers of the 8th National Assembly.

We must say that the bill received so much acceptance which has attracted national and international applause, this is a testament of the desire for the moment by well-meaning Nigerians.

Mr President, it is not in doubt that your passion and utmost commitment to eradicate fraud and corruption in Nigeria remain unparalleled. It may however, interest His Excellency to know that while the administration intensifies efforts towards exterminating corruption, it is not strange to have individuals and groups who are not favourably disposed to the ongoing onslaught against corruption by this administration to deploy efforts in seeing to it that the old order is maintained.

We are confident of Mr President’s ability to always discern these unscrupulous individuals and groups who will stop at nothing in frustrating His Excellency’s efforts especially those who may be posing as friends with unsolicited solidarity visits.

It is not surprising to have these categories of individuals or group opposed to the assent of the Chattered Institute of Forensic and Investigative Professionals of Nigeria (CIFIPN) bill owing strategic cardinal point of preventing fraud and corruption.

The Institute therefore, wish to alert Mr President that soon, some of these groups, whose interest is to see to the abrupt end of the Chattered Institute of Forensic and Investigative Professionals of Nigeria (CIFIPN) bill, will commence such ill-conceived visit to His Excellency in the name of solidarity visit with the aim of convincing Mr President not to give his assent to the CIFIPN bill.

Once more, Mr President, the Chartered Institute of Forensic and Investigative Professionals of Nigeria (CIFIPN) solicits your support through the assent to the CIFIPN bill which will give our institute the legal backing to function effectively in the fight against corruption as  vigorously pursued by your administration.

The country has more to benefit from the institute and no myopic or individual interest should be capable enough to outweigh the national interest. We hopefully believe that Mr President’s assent will enhance the fight against Cyber and financial crime in Nigeria.

We appreciates and salute your courage for yielding to the cry of many Nigerians for the recognition of June 12 as Democracy day, we congratulate your Excellency for this impeccable feat.

While we wish Mr President a successful tenure, we wish Nigerians a remarkable democracy day celebration.

Long live CIFIPN

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
