The National Coordinator and Chief Executive, National Social Investment Agency (NSIPA), Assoc. Prof. Badamasi Lawal has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid the sum of 24,781,525,000 billion naira to 991,261 households across the 36 states of the country and the Federal Capital Territory so far.
Lawal, who stated this in a press statement, said each of the beneficiaries got 25 thousand naira through the financial service providers (FSP).
He disclosed that in August this year, 153,038 households across the country received 3,825,950,000 billion naira in total.
He also revealed that the sum of 20,955,575,000 billion naira was disbursed to 838,223 households in September this year.

Lawal said the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer was aimed at cushioning the economic shocks of mostly the poor and vulnerable people in the country.
He noted that the economic benefits included poverty reduction, improved household finances as well as savings ability of the beneficiaries.
According to him, the health benefits provided opportunities for the beneficiaries to improve their health and nutritional services.
