The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed that three people were killed in a communal clash in the Numan and Demsa local government areas of the state.
The violence erupted in the Selti and Kpasham communities, leading to the loss of three lives, according to a statement by the command’s public relations officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje.
He said the Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, led a team of operatives to the troubled spots to restore law and order, assuring that the investigation was still ongoing to identify and capture the culprits and their accomplices.
The CP urged the residents to steer clear of violence and conduct their daily activities peacefully without any fear.
