Residents of Okinni community on Tuesday morning found the remains of an unidentified man in the area in the aftermath of the recent communal clash between Ilobu and Erin Osun communities.Some of the residents said the deceased was from Ilobu community and that he must have escaped with injury from the troubled area during the clash. One of the residents said “The deceased sustained injuries on his body. We suspect that he is from Ilobu community because we are sure he was not from our community.” It could be recalled that many residents of Erin-Osun and Ilobu communities fled their homes during the clash and most of them ran to neighbouring communities.The Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, told Daily Trust that investigation has commenced unraveling the circumstances behind the death of the man.
