There was commotion in Anagada community in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT at the weekend following the killing of a resident by a stray bullet in front of his shop.
Our reporter gathered that policemen had gone to the area to arrest a suspect linked to kidnappers when the incident happened.
A resident told our reporter that the police met resistance by the suspect’s associates as they were making their way towards the expressway with him inside their van.

He further said, “The police, however, succeeded in taking the suspect to the Zuba Division, while his associates fled into the bush.’’
There was no response from the FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Josephine Adeh, on the incident.
