Katsina state government has asked the state’s commission of enquiry to remove the names of two persons on the list of those accused of misappropriation of state funds between 2011-2015.
They are Former Director of Budget now Accountant General of the state Kabir Dankaura and former Permanent Secretary Government House, now Permanent Secretary Ministry of Agriculture Idris Tune.
At resume sitting of the commission, the commission’s counsel Hassan Liman SAN draw the attention of the commission to the request.
The duo had been listed among those involved in alleged misappropriation of monies at ministry of Local government and chieftanicy affairs, SURE-P, KASSAROMA amongst others.
In his ruling, the chairman of the commission, Barrister Ado Maaji strucked out their names following a non-objection from Tune’s lawyer Sada Abdullahi.
