Commission approves courses for Kangere COE

The National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) is set to endorse courses being offered by Adamu Abubakar Tafawa Balewa College of Education Kangere, Bauchi State.

 Provost of the college, Dr Garba Ibrahim Kirfi, said six departments were covered during the NCCE’s accreditation exercise. He said approval would be given to Adult and Non-Formal Education courses, Arts and Social Science, Social Studies, Islamic and Christian Studies, English and Hausa.

Other courses to be accredited were Primary ‎Education Studies, Early Child Education, Mathematics and Integrated Science, Agriculture and Home Economics.

The 13-man accreditation team headed by the NCCE Deputy Director, Academic Affairs, Dr. Mchirga Abedega, visited the college recently for the exercise.
