Speaking with Kanem Trust, Obalim said that it was because of the importance attached to PGCs by the national headquarters of NSCDC that they were directed to train and prepare them for the task ahead. He disclosed that the combined efforts of Private Guards and other security agencies had drastically reduced crime rate in the state.
While calling on the companies that have not registered with NSCDC to do so, the commandant noted that the agency would not hesitate to seal any unregistered security outfit in the state. He pointed out that about 30 companies were so far issued licenses to operate in the state.
The NSCDC boss appealed to the general public to furnish the organization with meaningful information that would lead to the arrest of criminal and vandals.
