Road users travelling on the Gwaram-Basirka road in Jigawa State have been urged to take alternative routes.
This is as a result of a bridge that collapsed on the road as a result of a heavy downpour.

The Jigawa State police spokesman, Lawan Shiisu, revealed this in a statement.

He said, “On 28/08/2022, as a result of a night downpour, a culvert on the Gwaram-Basirka road, precisely at Rabadi village in Gwaram LGA of Jigawa State, was washed away.
“In view of this, road users should seek alternatives or use the diversion created by the authorities.”
