COEASU president advises VP south east to work harmoniously with various colleges in zone

The President of Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) Dr Smart Olugbeko has advised the Vice President of the Union,Dr. Churchill Chukwunonso Okonkwo to ensure good working relationships between the Management of various Colleges in the South East and the Unions at the Chapter levels.

Dr Smart Olugbeko gave the advice while swearing in Okonkwo as the Vice President, Research and Documentation and the Coordinator of the South East Zone.

While extolling his virtues, Dr Smart Olugbeko expressed the hope that Okonkwo would fulfil his role to the Union meritoriously without fear of favour

Okonkwo who is the Chairman of Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU), Federal College of Education (Technical),(FCET) Umunze, Anambra State emerged as the new Vice President of the Union at a special delegate Congress held at the Federal College of Education Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He was returned unopposed by the delegates from 35 college’s of education across the country who are qualified to vote .

Dr Churchill Okonkwo until his election was the Chairman, COEASU Federal College of Education (Technical), FCET Umunze Chapter in Anambra state

He was a two time member of Anambra State Transition committee and at the last Transition Committee, he masterminded the development of the Anambra State Petroleum and Solid minerals road map which the government is using in the sector until now .
