Cocoa farmers in Abia State have received a newly introduced hybrid cocoa seedlings to boost cocoa production in the state.
Leader of cocoa farmers in the state, Dr Joseph Onwukwe, while speaking during the distribution of the improved seedlings to farmers, said the move would ensure bumper harvest for farmers.
Dr Onwukwe, while commending the Abia State government for the gesture, said the newly introduced hybrid type of seedlings would reposition the cocoa sub sector in the state.
