The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, has warned bandits, terrorists, kidnappers and other criminals to repent or continue to face the full wrath of the law.

The COAS while speaking at the graduation ceremony of 647 Special Forces of the ‘Exercise Restore Hope lll’, on advance Infantry training assured that the army had the capacity and means to fish out the criminal elements.

He said the troops comprising 13 officers, 134 senior non-commissioned officers and 500 soldiers of the 82 regular recruit intake would add value to the nation’s manpower security.

Addressing the troops at their final exercise and graduation at the Nigerian Army Training Camp in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna, the army chief said the troops would be deployed to various theaters of operations across the country. 

Daily Trust reports that the troops underwent various forms of training including long distance shooting at 300m, sniper shooting at 500m and shooting after physical effort under timing with effects as well as small team tactical movement to rescue hostages, among others.
