Ustaz Nurudeen AbdulMalik gave the advice in Abuja at the bi-annual special lecture and inauguration of the new executive of the Abuja Muslim Forum (AMF), with the theme: “Leadership Challenges in The Contemporary Society: The Practical Islamic Way Forward”.
“Muslims should desist from clamouring to lead of Muslim organisations at all cost. This usually results in the proliferation of organisations, especially on economic gains and ego, rather than being united for a just and common cause,” Ustaz AbdulMalik said.
Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT) of the forum and Secretary to the Federal Government, Alhaji Mahmud Yayale Ahmed, pledged to support the organisation in its activities.
