The President Archbishop, Church of God Mission, Archbishop Margaret Benson-Idahosa, has charged disciples of late Archbishop Benson Idahosa to be good ambassadors of the church.
Mrs. Idahosa gave the charge on Sunday while inaugurating the All Nations for Christ Bible International Institute’s Alumni Association (ANFCBIIAA) at the Church of God Mission International headquarters in Benin, Edo State capital.
Daily Trust reports that the alumni is made up of graduates of the Institute, founded 1968 by the late Archbishop.
“Anointing is upon your lives Please as you go forth, begin to raise men and women that will carry out this work. You are this fire brand that cannot be quenched. I thank all of you who have worked for the All Nations for Christ Bible International Institute,” she said.
“Today, God is telling me to tell you that you are not strangers to Him. Anywhere you go, they know you because you speak like your father; from your root. Once you open your mouth, people will know you are miracle workers.”
She said the inauguration is to validate the mandate of the alumni association to carry its mandate of spreading the word of God for the betterment of the society and humanity.
Also speaking, the Acting Chairman of of the body, Bishop Robertson Akwazi, said the purpose of establishing the alumni association is to prove that the late archbishop Idahosa still lives.
According to him, the inauguration is to validate the bible institute alumni association to give it more authority as some and daughters of the late archbishop who have globally gathered as an alumni.
He said the inauguration was done to ensure that legacy of Idahosa is sustained.
In their remarks, member, Board of Trustee, ANFCBIIAA, Apostle Joshua Olaoye; Provost of the institute, Dr. Usman Habeeb and Head, Ghana Chapter of the bible institute, Bishop Alex Kwame Nkrumah, noted that since inception, the institute has graduated over 15,000 persons spread across the world.
