Leader of the Qadiriyya movement in Africa,  Sheikh Karibullah Kabara has appealed to the Federal Government to deploy more security to Zamfara state.

The Cleric made the appeal on Saturday at the 68th birthday of the founder of the Qadiriyya movement, Sheikh Abdulkadir Jilani.

He expressed dismay over the increasing crime in the state and killings of innocent citizens.

Kabara urged Muslims to emulate Sheikh Jilani who had been known to be God fearing and honest since he was about eight years old.

He further called on Muslims from all sects to be tolerant and live peacefully with all sects and other faithfuls.

NAN reports that followers of the Qadiriyya movement undertook procession around the city of Kano to celebrate the event.
