The Senate has intervened in the feud between the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad and justices of the Supreme Court.
Fourteen justices had, among other allegations, accused the CJN of neglecting their welfare and not carrying them along in managing the affairs of the court.
But the CJN had denied the allegations and condemned taking the issues to the public.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan said the legislature must be interested in the happening at the judiciary to find a solution to any of its issues.
He asked the Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters led by Senator Opeyemi Bamidele to “find out what the real issue is so that the National Assembly can help out.”
