The Kano branch of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has offered a cash incentive of N10, 000 to 20 patients on admission at Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital, Kano.
Speaking during the presentation of the cash donation to the patients, CIBN Kano chapter Chairman Malam Aliyu Wada Nas stated that the chapter has been conducting a series of activities every year as part of the institute’s Corporate Social Responsibility gesture.
According to him, this year the team from the institute’s Kano chapter has found it fit to visit the hospital and donate to patients the little they can offer for them to have a feeling of financial relief no matter how little it is.
“Although we are not given much, but we hope the little we are giving will make a difference in the life of these patients taking into consideration the current nation’s economic status, the institute will continue to do more in giving back to the society for a better tomorrow,” he said.
