The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David, over the weekend embarked on a medical outreach for over 2,000 households in Daki-Biyu community in Jabi district of Abuja.
Agbolade Okenla, who is the pastor in charge, said after considering the prevailing economic situation in the country the church decided to visit the community to lift about 2,000 households, aside from the free medical checks administered to them.

He said, “Usually we just do medical outreach, but in the spirit of Christ, we will be providing chickens, Maggi, salt, rice and clothes to show the love of Christ as part of Christmas. We also reached out to the widows from different parts of the FCT where we gave them food items and cash tokens, because that is probably the way we can reach out and help, and we felt the widows should not be left out.”
