Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has urged Nigerians not to see the country’s population and diversity as a cog in the wheel of progress but rather a driving force that can make Nigeria great.
Bagudu, said this on Saturday in Birnin Kebbi, while felicitating with Christians faithful in the state on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

The governor said the festive period should be used for peacefully coexistence irrespective of religious, political or ethnic differences.
Governor Bagudu, who said the country’s unity was sacrosanct, urged Nigerian to see the unity of this country as non-negotiable and that Nigeria stood to benefit more if its unity prospered.
“Our diversity and population should be an advantage, more opportunities and not problems.
“With unity, Nigeria will continue to grow from strength to strength. This means the country would be at par with its contemporaries.
“The festivities of Christmas and New Year are joyous moments for merriment, reflections and exchange of love,” Governor Bagudu said.
