NAN reports that Bishop Emmanuel Angbashim, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone chapter, used the occasion to warn youths against violence during the polls.

He also advised the youths to vote for the right candidates and avoid any behaviour that could be inimical to the success of the exercise.

Angbashim said that Ombugadu was a young man that represented hope for the youths and the elderly, adding that he was an example of unity and had a good plan for Nasarawa people.

“I am particularly happy and impressed with the way he has brought both Muslims and Christians together without any discrimination,” he said.

The Bishop said that youths regretted that youths were always used as tools for violence, and advised Nasarawa State youths to resist any attempt to use them for such vices.

Also speaking, Rev. Dr Mike Audu, chairman of MGCC, advised Nigerians to vote candidates that would improve their living conditions, urging them to shun violence and sentiments along religious and tribal lines. (NAN)
