Mohammed said the water-borne illnesses (cholera inclusive) account for more than 70 percent of diseases ravaging Nigerian communities currently, hence the need for government to employ health officers to educate the citizens.

According to him, if the government recruits more officers and deploy them to health facilities, they would assist in educating and preventing cholera outbreak and other diseases in the country.
