Chinese media shame worst road stunts

Everyone goes through the strife of trying to cram possessions into a car boot or fix them onto a vehicle’s roof while moving house or going on holiday, but some Chinese motorists really take the biscuit.This picture posted on Huanqiu.com, an affiliation to People’s Daily Online, shows a worker audaciously delivers two construction pipes on his particularly narrow trike in Jilin. There are an estimated 660,000 bridges in China, many of which collapse each year due to overcrowding.  A bridge over Qiantang River in Hangzhou, designed for vehicles weighing 30 tons and trailers weighing 55 tons, was abused by truckers carrying loads in excess of 100 tons.The bridge finally gave away recently when a 129-ton truck tried to cross it.
