Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a Chinese expatriate and his driver in Donga local government area of Taraba state.
The Chinese working with a Chinese company was said to be traveling along Donga-Wukari road with his driver in a Jeep on Tuesday when the gunmen blocked the road and whisked them away.

Daily Trust gathered that the kidnappers had contacted the officials of the Chinese Firm which has a base in Donga town informing them that the Chinese and his driver are well and healthy but they did not demand for ransom.
Police spokesperson in Taraba state, DSP David Misal confirmed the incident but declined comment on the issue.
Donga and Takum roads in southern Taraba was deserted recently because of activities of armed militia and kidnappers and it was only few months ago the two roads were secured and traffic returned.
