The proprietress of the Jewels Leading Lights Academy, Ms Oluwatoyin Oboh, has called on the government at all levels to establish family educational centers in the rural areas to sensitize parents on child upbringing.
Oboh stated this Monday in Abuja while speaking with the media on the sidelines of the 2023 International Day of Family.
“I would encourage the government to put up family education centers in the rural areas just like we have maternity centers, that can be in the language. It must be in English so that it is accessible.
“We should remember that the value is embedded in the family, belief identity systems. Once is wrong, is wrong and that is why we have a lot of chaos in the world right now,” Oboh said.
She also called on the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) , National Orientation Agency and Ministry of women affairs to create more awareness on the use of technology.
