Kaizer Chiefs will play their remaining two Absa Premiership matches without goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, who suffered a concussion in the 1-0 loss to BidVest Wits on Sunday.
Nigeria international has been ruled out for the remainder of the season as Chiefs chase a first league title since the 2014/15 campaign.

It presents a difficult decision for coach Ernst Middendorp, who had excluded stalwart Itumeleng Khune from the squad after he missed a number of training sessions.
Whether Khune gets a recall, with no form behind him, or Middendorp sticks with Bruce Bavuma for matches against Chippa United (Wednesday) and Baroka FC (Saturday) will be a decision that could yet have a bearing on the Championship race.
“Daniel Akpeyi suffered a concussion on Sunday against Wits,” Chiefs confirmed.
“He is ruled out for the next two matches.
“The medical team will continue monitoring his recovery process.
“We wish him a speedy recovery.”
Middendorp hinted at other issues outside of training that had meant Khune was sidelined.
“I think, regarding Itu, if you need a little bit more in terms of details, I refer you to the management of Kaizer Chiefs, probably they will give a little bit more information,” he said last week.
