Chelsea and Wales midfielder Sophie Ingle has set a new record for the most Women’s Super League appearances.
The 32-year-old played in her 184th WSL game yesterday as the Blues faced Liverpool at Stamford Bridge to move one ahead of former Birmingham City and Tottenham defender Kerys Harrop.
Ingle has won the WSL title four times, the Women’s FA Cup on three occasions and the Women’s League Cup once.

Ingle equalled Harrop’s total of 183 appearances when she came on as a substitute in the 3-0 win over Everton on 12 November.
