The Director of Strategic Communication of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Dele Alake, has said that the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, delegated some members of his team to answer some questions during his outing at Chatham House, London to showcase their caliber.

Alake stated this during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today.

Tinubu was in Chatham House to speak to Nigerians in the Diaspora on why he should be elected in 2023.

Asked why Tinubu delegated some of his team members to answer some questions, when the nation wanted to hear directly from him, the former Commissioner for Information in Lagos State, said, “That is one of the innovations of Asiwaju Tinubu. Don’t forget that one of his solid main trends has been identifying talents. Everybody knows that Asiwaju is primus inter pares in terms of team building. And that is what he sought to show, to display team building.

“Now everybody acknowledges his talents in showcasing professional, technocrats and experts in various fields. Those who are saying what you have just said are ignorant of nuance and dynamics of leadership.

“Leadership is not one man’s show. Successful leadership is based on a team that is professional, that is highly skilled, that is with management skill that is required to move the society. Asiwaju has been noted to be an advocate of that.”
