A PDP ward chairman has left the party for APC in Gwargwada Ward in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The chairman, Mr Danlami Yanga and his followers announced their defection to APC at a stakeholders’ meeting in Gadabuke town.
He said: “I and my followers decided to dump PDP and join APC because of the pragmatic leadership style of the APC-led administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule, and the State Assembly Speaker, Balarabe Abdullahi.
“I am calling on my supporters and people of the area to give the present administration all the needed support to succeed,” he said.
It would be recalled that recently, a former state lawmaker, Madaki Ada-Goje and former administrator of Gadabuke Development Area, Benjamin Belodu also left PDP for APC.
