Promise Dobi has emerged winner of the Youth Ambassadors For Ethics and Values (YAFEV) essay competition organised by the Centre for Promotion of Ethics and Values (CENPEV).
Young Dobi, the Coordinator of South East YAFEV, who is passionate about integrity, Nigeria’s development issues, said he hates corruption and all forms of criminality.

The annual essay competition had contestants to discuss the current state of core values and ethics in Nigeria.
They are to also proffer solutions to these issues, along with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The over 100 contestants fall within the age limits of 13 and 15 years (Junior category) and 16 and 45 (Senior Category).
Twenty three contestants were shortlisted in the senior category, out of which the first position was won by Dobi Promise, the second position went to Favour Obianuju and third went to Ogbaga Thomas.
In the junior category, Elochukwu Chidera clinched the first position, followed by Thomosses Gimba while the third position was won by Sunshine Samson.
The Executive Director, CENPEV, Dr Mercy Sokomba, congratulated the winners.
She said the publication of the debate compendium will be produced by the Centre under its Book Development Project.
