Celeste (Singer) The Chibok Girls by Helon Habila

Celeste, a Nigerian singer said the last good book she read is Helon Habila’s ‘The Chibok Girls: The Boko Haram Kidnappings and Islamist Militancy in Nigeria’.

“I am a big fan of Helon Habila,” Celeste said. ‘Waiting for an Angel’ was one of my best stories and I loved it. I enjoyed ‘The Chibok Girls’. To a great extent, the media in this country have shut their mouths a lot. You don’t really see the reality. The book really opened up what’s really happening over there to me.”
