The Director General of Institute For Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), Abuja, Dr. Bakut Tswah Bakut, has advised the electorate to exercise restraint by shunning actions and utterances capable of disrupting peace while celebrating victories at the polls.
He spoke at a seminar organized by the institute in Dutse, Jigawa State, yesterday.
According to him, as part of its mandate, the institution always advocates for non-violent electoral contests, adding that there was no level of election worth the blood of any citizen, hence, the need not to see politics as a life or death affair.
