So, there is a need for these youths to be fully oriented on this.
“As part of the criteria needed in obtaining the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) initiated a loan scheme, we designed a training programme for these youths on vocational skills so that they can utilize the loan judiciously when it is finally approved.”
Representative of CBN, Alhaji Maitama, said the loan is not a grant as perceived by some people but the loan facility by the Federal Government and CBN will go a long way in alleviating poverty, create jobs and boost the economy.
A participant, Sadiya Yusha’u Abdukareem, pledged to take advantage of the training to become self-reliant.
