A Catholic Priest, Reverend Fr Thaddeus Tarhembe, the whose is in charge of the Saint Anne’s Parish, Sarkin Kudu Ibi, in Wukari Diocese, Taraba State has been kidnapped.
The Bishop of the Diocese Most Rev. Mark Nzukwein who disclosed this on Sunday in a press release signed by the Diocese’s Director of Communication, Rev. Fr. John Jerome Laikei said that the gunmen stormed the residence of the priest on Sunday and took him to an unknown location.
Similarly, four persons were also kidnapped around Winners’ Comprehensive School in Jalingo on Saturday night. It was learnt that the assailaint stormed the area and abducted a house wife her two daughters and a house help.

The house help a girl was however released by the kidnappers but the three are still being held hostage by the kidnappers.
Police spokesman for Taraba State Police Command SP Abdullahi Usman confirmed the incident and said the house help was released by the kidnappers.
